Not as much as you'd think, some jet players sure were fucking annoyingly good that I'd learn, but you didn't really do air-to-air with kiowas and little birds. Most I'd do is swoop in on a cow dropping troops with the 50. Cobra's and havocs on the other hand dueled it out all the time with the TV guided missiles though lmao.
