>all these omegabads saying to stop playing after normal or nightmare
The people advising not to grind for high runes are correct, but c'mon man at least beat hell once. That's when you've beaten the game, after hell baal dies, when your character will be around mid 70s to low 80s and fully built, not before.
Also D2r is a shining example of what remasters can be. The people shittalking it are /pol/tards mad about the pally being niggerfied and the zon being trannied. But that's basically the only place the remaster missed, everything else is so god damn good. Not the least of which is some minor balance changes (only buffs, no nerfs) so that many underperforming or nonexistent builds work now.
That said, there are no wrong answers to whether you go with d2r or old school d2 LoD with plugy. Both are good. Plugy has infinite shared stash space (with tab indexing too) and character slots over d2r.
pic related, I have thousands of hours in old d2 LoD and I say d2r is great.
