I think that anime has captured some aspects of God. Whenever your favorite character goes into his most OP super-powered mode or uses his most powerful ability, that is an aspect of God. There is an innate love of heroes in stories that is embedded into all humans. Why do we love heroes? Because they remind us of God, but they are also people just like you and me so they are not God. So heroes and anime protagonists are microcosmic aspects of God. We're drawn to heroes and anime protagonists and love them, but what we're really loving is God Himself.
