I do find it funny that Toby allows you to skip the ferris wheel scene in chapter 2 and you're allowed to interrupt Susie and Noelle's conversations early when they're in the living room, basement and in Dess' room. And that there are hundreds of suselle sprites that were cut out of the game. Is this intentional? Did he pre-emptively know that the ship would have a lot of haters?

As for skipping the suselle scenes and dialog, I can only wonder if the game keeps track of that. I don't think it would let you influence Susie and Noelle's development regardless, kind of feels antithetical to the game's themes if it let you manipulate the development of these kids' relationships. Well, Snowgrave lets you do that, but it's also very explicitly portrayed as a bad thing.
