Tape you feet and dunk the boots in water and walk around on a hot day. I mean absolutely drench them. Then let them dry and rub them in with lots of beeswax type leather conditioner.
Should speed up the process a fair bit.

I got some surplus jungle boots from Wellco, and they were pretty dry out of the box. Now they fit like a glove and I love wearing them.
