Honestly it doesn't even look that bad. The enemy movesets seem stiff and don't always target the player, but the player side looks fine. There's absolutely a lot worse looking games out there than this with decent reception, and often games that look janky/weightless in gameplay videos like The Surge turn out to be very responsive in the moment to moment. Besides I played Crystar and Poison Control so I'll be fine at least.
I'm gonna give it a try, I think.
