We don’t really have a speaker thread but I figure I’d ask here as I imagine there’s a bit of hobby overlap
I got these Bose 301 series III’s for $100 and they work fine and after some cleanup (there were paint flecks on the mesh I had to pick out with tweezers) they look nice
I’m gonna set these up downstairs a bit further apart, I got these because I think they look cool and the weird directional thing supposedly works well with smaller rooms
Here’s the thing, I don’t have any way to power them yet.
Do you think I should get a dedicated amp and receiver or would I be better off just getting a decent receiver that can power these for a simple two speaker stereo setup?
Before this I had powered speakers plugged into my cd player and cassette deck
