Also my mom just called me out of the blue and was literally crying/shouting about how I'm a terrible son and never call her or tell her anything and nobody likes her. So I told her some things about my life, which she proceeded to either heavily criticise or just ignore and talk over me about her problems. Then she proceeded to give me a long list of things to do for her and hung up.
Looking forward to visiting her this summer (not)
