Theres a "normal" that people dont feel the need to talk about. When switch 1 released with its shitty lcd display it was bad overall, but the pixel response was normal for an IPS that had oldish tech and no OD so people focus on the more remarkable aspects of the device.

Now switch 2 comes along and breaks everyones expectations by having over 3x slower pixel response time than what you'd expect from a "120hz" display. That kinda overshadows all other aspects of the console launch.
