but a weaker currency exchange works in favor of kny overall profit as other currencies will bring more money comparable to when the yen was stronger. Ufotable studio pays their employees on yen. they produce by buying in yen etc.


Sony has already explictiy said this in their financial report, such as their games section. Infinity castle is likely to be far more profitable if the international numbers remain the same or become better (especially in US). Even when the YEN > usd box office conversion is "weak" that doesn't really matter to the bottom line.
