Nintendo more than other companies are ok with delaying games as seen with Tears and more notably swapping Xeno 3 and Splat 3 because they sit on completed games like Engage. I think some of their games are further along than they let on due to Imprisonment getting rated and Nintendo being upset and trying to lower it. Anything is possible but if this is what was announced they have to have some confidence thy would meet it instead of slotting in something they have done already
