Nope, that timeline was never mentioned again.
I think there was some plotline about all the failure timelines being destroyed or merged into one or something, not sure. Like I said, I dropped it after that, so I only know vague details. I only tuned into later discussions a few times to see "Did anyone ever fix this timeline?" with the answer seeming to be no.
