SOVL enhancement. I don't know how else to put it. CRT just makes everything look natural. I played HL2 the other day and the game never looked better on any other display I used before. It looks dated on IPS which is fair because it's a 20 year old game but on CRT everything comes back to life. I have reference level OLED tv and it's not the same despite perfect contrast.
