Pathetic films half-led by a bland twink. Bereft of excitement or discovery the movie in no appreciable way captures the proper essence or tone of Dune. They sort of got the sand right. Not the worms, they look terrible and their role seems almost irrelevant. A few of the sets are serviceable if boring, like all the rest. Several poor casting choices contrast badly with the talented side cast (not Mamoa)
