it had its moments but it was rather pretentious at times. The overall themes and morality was soi as fuck too, but i loved the edge. The whackowski trannies were pretty much a spent-artistic force at this point.

But i do respect that they were always willing to grab Hugo Weaving and put him on the big screen every chance they got. Dudes beyond underrated and one of the best character actors ever, and he's even a non-gay goy too.

Cloud Atlas is kind of amazing. At one point, a character looks 1 degree away from the camera lens and says you have the moral responsibility to overthrow the government, and people still didn't get what it was about.

It never questions it's own assumptions. It's mostly just neoliberal pandering.
