>Din's Curse
Diablo in a dynamic randomized world with custom classes. Seven (six without the DLC) default classes with 3 skill trees each or a hybrid class that picks any 2 skill trees which adds a ton of replayability.
Speaking of replayability that's really the name of the game here which leads back into the dynamic and randomized world. Maybe saying "world" is a bit much, each "world" consists of a single town and a single dungeon, when you do enough quests to save a town you move onto the next randomized town/dungeon combo. Dynamic isn't a buzzword here, the world moves on with or without your actions or sometimes BECAUSE of your action/inaction.

Let's say, for example, one of the bosses you need to kill is Doodoo Head the Machinist and he's 10 levels deep into the dungeon. While you're dungeon diving he builds a recon tower on one of the higher floors but you're too busy to go back up to take it out or spend too long trying to find it so he uses it to stage an invasion of the town. You get back to the town, start fighting his invasion force which ends up killing half the townspeople and two vendors, but while you are doing this he builds a fog machine on one of the lower floors and an ice machine higher. Then there is an uprising of some enemy type due to Doodoo Head's meddling because you're taking too long to get down and kill his ass so while you're taking care of that so they don't also invade your town he continues to build more and more machines. Then you finally manage to kill one of his lieutenants but as it turns out he was something of a diplomat so now the skeletons and demons in the dungeon have started a war with each other.

This sort of stuff unfolds in the matter of an hour, there's tons and tons of emergent gameplay and emergent storytelling too (if you're willing to kind of stretch the definition of "story"). It can be bitesized dynamic Diablo or "what the fuck I've been playing this for 4 hours straight" dynamic.
