30c is 86 fahrenheit, I don't understand how you can seriously compare that to a desert. Even places with 4+feet of snow in winter that regularly get down to like 30 below freezing can easily be 86+ in the peak of summer. Even fucking Minnesota gets that hot.
"The peak of summer in July is 86 degrees fahrenheit" is not "desert" weather, it's downright temperate. Some place where even in the hottest months of the year it doesn't break 80 degrees is by far the bigger outlier and is closer to a desert in terms of extremes, do you live in the fucking swiss alps or something? Even Norway got up to like 34+ degrees/ 90+ fahrenheit this year
