Pondus is/was a rare curiosity, because it's regularly pretty funny for a "safe" newspaper strip comic. Even a bit raunchy, sometimes.
Øverli was always in the absolute top tier of the Pyton creators (Deep Shit Junkies was basically the best the magazine had to offer, along with Dølle Døck) and Pondus' generally high quality speaks for the man's talent for humor.
