I know I don't want to cast fireball - too dangerous - but I know the kind of thing he's talking about. Something thoroughly, unquestionably magical, that you can't deny is anything but. Illusion magic like visions of monsters that aren't there. Conjuring or quelling storms. Rings of power or invisibility. Magical shields. A fucking Bag of Holding.
