So I restarted the game and grinded for lives in stage 3 around the enemy spawning statues. Even though the lives counter caps shows a max of lives at x9, it doesn't cap at 9 and goes well beyond.

I liked it. Great stytle. Some of the jumps in the ice level can go fuck themselves though.
