I don't understand why these politicans try to cater to Christians and resort to using the bible to get people to support them. It doesnt' make any sense. Hardly anybody in the US is a real "Christian" anymore. The majority of people that DO go to church are just going to make themselves feel good/maintain an appearance. The only real extreme "bible-thumpers" are in the South. I just don't get it. Might have worked in the 90s.
