It's so weird that people are obsessed with bringing the carts back themselves, when it was the best part of the job. I was a cartpusher and it was far superior to any other task at the job. The choice is stay inside the store and deal with customers or going out to the parking lot and getting carts all by yourself was an easy one for me.
I suppose I am aberrant though. Even the other workers avoided it. I never had to fight for the job because no one wanted to go get carts? Cart retrieval was the best. It would have disappointed me greatly if there were no carts to get because all the customers brought them back.

I don't do that job anymore, I went and became a paramedic for some stupid reason and it's quite stressful.
Oh well. If you have no skills I reccomend cart chasing. that's where i was going with this. Maybe I always did things that others people would refuse to do. No one wants to get carts, or clean up messes, or deal with medical emergencies.
