Engineering jobs or anything that involves designing something is a lot less effected than you think... It's not really that useful in its current state and it's all marketing hype from Nvidia. The company driving AI hype is currently also running one of the biggest marketing scams in gaming with shit like pic related, and they are doing it with AI as well.
Nvidia knows it can't keep up the AI marketing hype forever and has been shifting hard towards robotics lately.
