Strive is constantly putting UI elements on top of each other
You never get several IB indicators in a row because no one uses it regularly but if that low res cropped clip was in Strive the 8 would be covering half the screen and the Counter! thing would be on top of it
The little gear things are less easily noticeable at a glance than just changing color, and the burst gauge changes from light blue to dark blue instead of blue to orange like Xrd

The UI is showing you information! It should be easy to see at a glance! Anything that you would want to see instead of the UI, like an animation or a projectile, will just go in front of it anyway, which they are still less likely to do then Strive since the camera is less zoomed in
I was going to go screenshot Faust's command grab in Strive from a youtube video for comparison but when I opened the first setup video and clicked near the end to look for the grab I got this frame so I'll just post it instead
