I actually think Dick is done really well in the DCAU. Or, at least, better than he could have been done. For all the mandates about including him in the show, I think they did a good job.

It's also ironic to me that the execs insisted on him being in the show for "kid appeal," yet the storytelling that centers around Dick includes some of the most adult and serious moments in the series.
