BG3 is objectively a bad game. I mean, literally every one of its mechanics is inferior to most other CRPGs, except for its graphics and the amount of voice acting.
This game can only be considered good due to a lack of experience. In other words, we’re back to the point where people who’ve never tasted ambrosia will mistake a turnip for it simply because they don’t know any better.
A lack of life experience, a lack of knowledge, and an unwillingness to delve into the structure of the subject—all of this leads to people unironically praising outright mediocrity.
Those who praise BG3 have never played BG1-2, Underrail, or AoTD, nor have they played WOTR or RT, so they’re simply unaware that things can be better. MUCH better.
