God's will is unknowable and Jesus' example doesn't cover things like caring for a severely disabled child. One person could say the right thing is to love the child as best you can no matter what. Another person could say the right thing is to give up the child to someone better equipped to care for them. Yet another person could say the right thing is to put the child out of its misery. You can cope that Jesus would NEVER do that no matter what but, to put it in /a/ terms, that's pure headcanon. We simply don't know what he would do in these extremely specific scenarios that he never encountered.
