Not the most exciting team but these were my guys, I barely managed to beat Red with them in the low 60s. I didn't mind grinding at all, I play these games on a real DS on the toilet or during breaks. Dropped a Graveler and a Hypno along the way but I'll always appreciate them. Yeah, Ampharos and Heracross feel too convenient and fun not to use.

Next time I'm definitely using Mamoswine though, getting it to Blackthorn city to get such a broken Pokemon is not that big a hassle. Considering also a Yanmega if I can get Tinted Lens.
