The identity crisis of /freak/ will probably go on forever. We've never been able to come up with one solid definition that pleases everyone and honestly it's probably better that way. This thread was conceived as a front for /meat/, expanding greatly upon our original identity to include a wider variety of vtubers who can deflect the attention of the jannies and the general public away from the vulnerable extreme ryona vtubers and their fans. Everything else is up to a certain level of interpretation.
Another thing you need to understand is that, while /freak/ is far from a creator run thread anymore, the og and active chuubas here still have a huge influence on the scene. Once someone has been accepted by that side of /freak/ like Eldra has, there is not a single thing a you can do about it other than continue to make the thread less fun for everyone else.
