Maybe this is a retarded question to ask. I've recently been getting back into magic after not really playing it for a decade. I always used to play with friends and that's where I've mostly been playing since getting back into it a few months ago, however I don't get nearly the same amount of opportunities to play with them as we're all a lot busier out of uni.
I've noticed a lot of casual commander events at various stores on the wotc site. Are these events where you're being matched with people or is it just that the store has allotted that date/time to be for people who want to play commander?
