Question: do you know why most VA monitors are not recommended if you plan on playing videogames? Because of their poor pixel responses times, particularly their very slow black shift time. This means that with VA monitors, there's a very noticeably and annoying ghosting smearing trail behind the color black.

This is why very slow panels with awful pixel response times are not recommended.

The Switch 2's panel is incredibly slow, slower than any LCD monitor in many years including VAs - except it's slow with basically all the colors, not just black shifting.

Going from a good IPS or even an OLED to the Switch 2's display is like toggling heavy motion blur on.
