Here in New York, we tend to rely on our bodegas or other local breakfast places for this type of sandwich. There are fast food places around but for our daily drivers we generally stay local.

One advantage of this is that the decent places always cook fresh eggs. No weird processed shit like the folded egg in McD's biscuit sandwiches. A shitty place will do that but word gets around and you avoid those (or you don't care).
