Because DS2 enemies are intelligently and fairly designed. You can look at an enemy like a turtle knight and intuitively figure out he's going to be a slow, lumbering heavy hitting enemy: and his gotcha backslam makes perfect sense. DS3, and beyond, a fat fuck like a winged knight can just do devil may cry special moves cause fuck it! Individually, on their own, none of ds2's enemies feel unfair; but put into groups and combined with tricky enemy placements and traps become really challenging. Which is how a souls game is supposed to be.
