And yeah I agree. Shizuka's bullying isn't even that extreme, it's mainly exacerbated from her being shy and having trouble speaking up for herself, which in turn is probably a result of the bullying in a vicious cycle of learned helplessness. It didn't seem like Marina was usually physical with her until after Takopi got involved either.
