That really sucks. Especially for a game they have been teasing for years now.
I'm still hopeful that it could end up being a quality queer narrative game, but it is feeling more like it is going to be some sort of short adventure game that leans hard on its licensed soundtrack.

Pretty much. Even if they pull a hard reset and abandon the DE 1 timeline, 'our Max' is still basically forever polluted at this point. Unless they wanted to abandon that timeline and also pull the Safi mental manipulation theory.
I have so many problems with that comic. But it is the best pricefield followup/closure we are ever going to get in anything official.
Thank god for Snora or else I would be extremely upset.
