Obviously this is a shitpost but it's a little bit funny how obsessed people are with the shield. The shield is literally just part of the bosses HP.
If you're shooting into the shield or into the boss itself, the amount of points you get is the same. Funnily enough, SKIPPING the shield and killing the boss too fast, is actually bad because you lose out on points. So if you can't break the shield, it literally doesn't matter, you're getting points all the same as if you weren't shooting into a shield.

If you aren't in kill range of the boss that shit don't matter, you'll get like 192 points less who cares.
