You know, with you pointing this out, I have to say it's another thing that feels like an ironic (clearly unintentional) parallel in Tuffle Quest. When we protagonist switched over to Peppa (and Gohan and Izzy), we leaned into some of those "fanfic Pan"/"mini Goku" traits, but because the QM doesn't have any autistic antipathy toward Goku, they worked well. Like she inherited the Power Pole and uses it, but it actually proved exceptionally useful in combat, especially after learning to channel combat magic through it. It's almost like she ended up everything that Multiverses Pan(s) could never be.
