You run your tongue over your lips. They feel cracked, dry. Rosandra’s presence is a as always a threat and a danger, but after what you just went through, you have the strength for a proper answer, for once.
“It is not the first time I have felt a calling. Besides that to the Faith.”
She does not reply, just giving you one of those aloof looks, as if you were nothing but a mote of dust, beneath her noticing, certainly not beneath her judging.
“As you might have noticed by stalking me night and day. I have never swayed in my beliefs and my attachment to Ansàrra. Tonight I felt a calling towards this part of the town, and I would have rather not followed. Or so I believe, it all feels so confounded, so fuzzy. There was something else…” you rub your fingertips against your head, trying to recollect what you just felt and saw. Something about the night sky, but you can’t really remember properly. It all feels so mixed up, like painting tincture stirred inside of a great cauldron, the colours shifting and losing themselves in their marriage. “But I cannot recall right now. Besides the experience I just had. I had two more visions. Both involving Saint Bragia.”
At that name, Rosandra’s nostrils flare and she lets out a long sigh through her nose.
It’s a bit a strange reaction for…
No, wait. If she did live that long, then…
“Did you— you did know her!” You say, pointing your finger towards the simmering redhead. “Is that why you are so obsessed with me?”
