It's not that it's literally Rick and Morty, it's that it's the same thing Rick and Morty is. Brainrot that relies on quick and easy "le heccin funne nerd culture" references on top of pretentiousness and thinking it's more clever than it actually is. Rick and Morty wasn't the first show to do it, it's just the most notable example, but if anything Big Bang Theory probably was the foundation of OWB since at the time it was one of the most watched shows on TV. But it's all that same kind of retarded and unfunny "humor" and it's been around since the 90s, and they're the equivalent of dangling keys in front of your face and expecting to react like pic related.
