I have a headset which I've taken apart to transplant into a new housing. It has a mic and two speakers for stereo audio and it's using a TRRS plug.
I've wired this up (pic related), but I keep getting mixed audio in both ears, one ear quiet, one ear fine or a non-working microphone. I've checked all the wires and it seems like the continuity is good, and according to what I've looked at, this should work. Obviously it doesn't so I'm a bit lost. I haven't taken away any components, unless maybe there were some in-line that I didn't see. To my pea brain, I've taken all the original components and rewired them for the new housing. I'm really not sure what I've done wrong.
Anyways, if someone sees what's wrong with this, please let me know so I may rest.
