Yeah, I agree that we can't let people go around meting out justice like that, but people do shit out of a sense of entitlement and believe that what think is a tolerable level of inconvenience to impose upon others is some kind of gospel truth. Then when they get called on it they bitch and if they suffer consequences as a result it becomes a relative thing. I call it the bigger victim theory, akin to hockey where the guy who throws the second punch is the one who gets the five-minute major.
It's not like this guy jumped out of the bushes and killed some random person minding their own business. The designated "victim" in this case could be alive today. All he had to do was not be an asshole.
