Here's my idea. We have all watched Braveheart, Game of Thrones, and other medieval stories some asshole noble enacts the right of Prima Nocta, deflowering the bride on the night of her wedding and sometimes getting her pregnant. Usually, the aristocrats will talk about blessing the marriage and what an honor it is to raise the child of a hero, but it's obvious they are bullshitting and the peasants always hate it and rebel or hide their marriages if at all possible.
My idea is a setting where both the commoners and the elites have genuinely bought into the propaganda; the handsome and muscular Lords believe themselves to be doing a favor to the smallfolk, teaching the bride the ropes of sex to make their first time with their husbands unforgettable, and the humble farmers in turn consider it a privilege to offer their girls' virginities to their masters, who protect and guide them. If they are really lucky, the wife will get knocked up and the servants will get to raise the son of a great warrior.
This story would take place from the POV of a random anon serf and his beautiful bride. They are childhood friends who have dreamed of getting married ever since they reached adolescence and declared their love for one another. All that's left is the ceremony... which everyone is excited and happy about!
