I think the idea of the gommage and the Paintress ticking clock is a very cool setting, with a lot of intrigue. and when I finished the game I had a pretty strong understanding of what was going on, stories with these really complex settings and plotlines can feel vague and random so it is kind of refreshing to have a story that is presented like this without holding my hand.
