For me, it's my intelligence, or lack of it of it.
I'm not severely mentally disabled or anything, but I've taken enough legit IQ tests to know I'm sitting in the low average to average tier. And I can feel it. Learning anything new takes me longer than it should. I struggle with basic math that normie high school girls are able to do. I constantly feel like I'm trying to catch up with everyone else in life.
It sucks because if I were actually smart, I think so many things in life would be easier. Better jobs, higher self esteem, more respect from people. Even conversations would feel less like a performance and more like something I can enjoy. I'd probably even like myself more.
I really do envy people who have high intelligence like it's a superpower, being clever, confident, quick on their feet, able to pick up skills fast. I feel like I missed out on something really crucial, and I have to overcompensate for it constantly.
So what about you?
What's your insecurity that you carry?
