I've been doing NoFap NoPorn and I think it's going to stick this time. I've tried it innumerable times in the past and it's never worked beyond two to three weeks. I've always wondered how I can want to quit so desperately in my logical, rational mind and end up relapsing regardless. I just got done reading the **sy ***sy **thod hackbook (try sending a post with its full name and you'll see how deep the rabbit hole goes) and I believe it's cured me.
I've always thought of the addiction as "I like looking at naked ladies and anime babes too much and just CAN'T STOP!" The real addiction is that your lizard brain is addicted to the chemicals triggered by the supernormal stimulus of pornography, and will lie to your logical mind however it has to in order to trick you into continuing to get it high. Whenever you decide to quit porn your junkie lizard brain immediately starts whispering the illusion that it'll be difficult to stop.
The central idea of the book is to internalize that you're giving up nothing and sacrificing nothing. It's only difficult because your addict lizard brain is telling you it is, as soon as you dispel this illusion it has no weapons. There are no withdrawals in the way we commonly think of them. The "withdrawals" is your lizard brain lying to your rational mind that you need porn to relax, or to make sure your dick works and you're still straight etc etc. If you ignore its lies your junkie lizard brain will heal.
It's just like in The Matrix, "there is no spoon." It's not until Neo believes the video game world is an illusion that he gains power over it.
