Hero shooters just suck as a concept and people stop playing them once the honeymoon phase is over. If you're not a perfect stoic monk, you'll prolly get at least a bit ticked off after going on a losing streak and getting the most heinous insults imaginable thrown at you over stuff that feels like it's out of your control.
Personally, I stopped playing regularly because the framerate on some maps is abominable and the ranking system has 0 competitive integrity.
