A MRLS battery wouldn't be anywhere near the frontline in real life, so if they're on the tabletop you're in some fucked up weird contrived scenario anyway, so assuming there's a resupply wagon just off the board edge full of missile racks if the whirlwind needs it isn't any crazier than that.
