I unironically believe every single 16 year old should have to serve in the military (non combat rolls unless an existential war has killed off anyone 18-45)
But high school is a joke, college is mostly a joke. At least the military would properly indoctrinate worker grunts into an industrial technical cooperative and logistic driven existence.
Just look how effective it has been for Israel.
