>And that still doesn’t invalidate that for Clive through that entire growth segment believe it is real.
It, in fact, does. I'm sorry, but thinking the very premise of the plot being negated isn't a big deal is simply ludicrous.
>The first two acts already covered the politics of the world.
That's cute and all, but the initial argument was that XVI's plot-related problems stem from its unwillingness and/or unability to follow through its premises. Infodumps about Sanbreque's tax policy are nice, but it doesn't change that the politics end up ultimately irrelevant in the actual plot of the game, and "the scenario is not willing to understand its own stakes" is a perfectly reasonable criticism. Media literate people would also know better to call any system of exploitation capitalism in an attempt to look smart, but then again they would probably have better priority than games with shallow narratives like XVI.
>The moral question of Clive’s actions already got screen time.
The answer was that he is in fact completely justified and his "terrorism" is just virtuous heroism since the alternative is becoming a zombie, again a case of the game not willing to go through its dilemmas. For a person so convinced people with criticisms of XVI didn't play the game, I don't think you have a very good grasp on how the game is structured and how its acts thematically contradict each other.
