Utterly based. You explained why I love her so much more than Twilight. Twi is just a plain edgelord cunt not afraid to abandon all morals randomly. But Glim, everything she does has layers to it, applying mental damage or projection or some kind of motive, like her filly flashback shows just how much she distrusts others. Mary is the one pone she feels most comfortable being around because she's so pure and lets Glim take the lead, her manipulation isn't just to be a bitch, it's her defense mechanism to her cynical view of the world and it bleeds heavily into her way of expressing her love for Mary.

Glimmy's writing is fantastic and I'm far more invested in her relationship with Mary than I ever was with Twixie. Twixie was just too predictable since their story basically followed popular fanons beat for beat so much that it felt like pandering, other than Flawless which is why she was lightning in a bottle. The premise for Glimmary is tantalizingly unique, Mary being a very interesting and sympathetic OC helps with that a lot and combined with Starlight's highly provocative yet melodramatic built-in character traits that immaculately translates into the Tamersverse, the duo really allows Tamers to let his creative juices flow.

This ship is instantly my favorite. The melodrama is kino right out the gate and there's a load of stuff to look forward to about their past and how much they'll grow into a healthier relationship. I love them!
